Macrame is great. It's a craft anyone can do with easy to find materials, and very little investment. The more you practice, the faster you become. Use the techniques you learn to create fashion and decor items - it's so much fun.
Vintage macrame wall hangings are pretty easy to find at thrift stores and online. If you have patience, and a good eye - you're probably going to find a piece like this owl for a steal.
