WHAT?

Well, what do you want from me? I'm a busy momma, ok? It's not easy to get much done with a couple sweet kids who need me to get them ready, feed them, drop them off, play with them, pick them up, feed them, drop them off, play with them, pick them up, feed them, and play with them again. That and getting supper ready and trying to fold some laundry so no one is wearing too tight, too loose, or too ripped pants in public, before continuing with the feeding, playing, bathing, reading and tucking into bed. Good thing they're so friggin loveable.

So, sometimes I pass on the iPod and say - LOOK AT THIS!!! And then, instead of resting, I do something for Lune. Like a crazy person. I am a crazy person. Fact. More so because it's 12:04 am and the first moment in the day I had to blog.

Any suggestions for a great baby app? Eve Moon likes one called Peek-A-Boo - guess what that's all about? Leave me a suggestion in the comments if you have one please!

we gifted our ipod touch to Simon last year, and he loves it! Now Delilah gets jealous so we've put some ebooks on there for her, and hit read-to-me. :) It's perfect for winding down, or when someone needs a different kind of distraction.

I hear you! We got an iPad but i find that my son uses it more than us! My son's 2 and he loves the wheels on the bus app...it's interactive! I sometimes play nursery rhymes for him on YouTube. Those few minutes I get are critical for me to get dinner ready!!! Otherwise, it's "mommy, let's play blocks" or 'mommy, firetruck" !!!!

Being a mom and trying to do ANYTHING productive is super tough. I have a three month old, and I'm trying desperately to make time for myself. It's rough, it's tough. But I try to make my primary goals and my secondary goals for the day. Usually none of the secondary goals get done, and so they roll over for tomorrow's primary. I'm sure you are an amazing mother.

I try to remember that on my epitaph it will read "Beloved wife and mother." Not, "Here lies the ultimate blogger. She never missed a post." Because, who cares really?

Hugs,
Ashley and Baby Ambra

Ashley - that last thought is so true. I may quote you in the future. You're so right.
