Last night, I mentioned Michelle Phillips (singer/songwritter and member of the 60s group The Mamas & the Papas) in conversation with my mom, who fully agreed that she was notoriously beautiful and admired in her era. It reminded me of a feature I've been meaning to start on Lune, highlighting women I admire for their stand out foxyness, both in appearance and attitude. We've taken many strides over the past 60 years, but one thing I think we've lost is the ability to truly harness the power of feminine beauty. These women knew how to rock their look, from flowerchild to vixen. Let them remind us, it's cool to bring foxy back.

These are great photos. She's naturally beautiful and stylish and even in just these pictures you can definitely see something deeper than just good looks... I agree with rachael, "effortless and simple".

Those photos are amazing. Someday we'll look back at the photos we take today and they'll be vintage. C-R-A-Zy!
